First impression of the Brewster is great. The 27 litre brew capacity generates approx 20 liters of beer for fermentation.
The 1.8 KW heating is acceptable and gives an ok boiling time. After two sessions we would appreciate a 2.2KW to cut time. The timer is great!
The pump and cooling system works well. To be honest it would have been even better if the pump system was pre mounted and fixed with switch possibilities for water and mesh process. Now it is just hanging there….would improve leakage and handling.
All over a positive experience.

We managed 40 liters of brew in our first day!

I have it and I’m very happy with the results. Is not very strong when boiling, but enough.
The connections are good and the pump to recirculate is fantastic, As you say would be better if was attached somehow.
Did you calculate the efficiency of the equipment?
Cheers!
Hi sorry for late reply. We have not yet calculated the eff rate. But will do next brewing. Cheers Erik
I am also using the Brewolution system for brewing, and while I agree with your very sound review, I must admit that I have never brewed beer so easy as I do now. I’ve just recently began brewing after a long pause of almost 16 years. Back then I was mashing and sparging in the kitchen, as well as boiling in large pots on a stove top. But this machine with a pump cycling the mash liquor from bottom to top is pure genius. Even the cooling system makes things a ton more easier – and quicker too. And I agree with you about the boiling time – tonight is my 4th brew – and I will be boiling the wort for an extra hour. Usually I brewed the wort for an hour and a half, and I always managed to reach a good Hot-Break, but with this system I don’t think the Hot-Break occurs early enough.
Happy brewing!

Hi Gustav – thanks for your comment. Yeah this machinery really makes it goes easy. This weekend we will enjoy the Belgo Meeting in Uppsala – home brewed belgian beer by amateurs. Cheers Mate
Hi!
I’m intereseted in this equipment. But what I have read from forum posts people have had problmes with the pump. The pump fails after a couple of brews. Have you had any pump issues? Or have you had any other issues? How many brews have you made? Can the pump be replaced with a better one?
Thanks! π
Hi no problems what so ever with the pump. We have brewed for more than a year. Best beer ever. They have spare parts to the brewer via re-sellers like http://www.humlegarden.se. We use all from the box. Great value. Cheers Erik
Ok! Grat to hear! π Maby people just dont clean it good enough! π The system looks wasome. Easy and no mess. Looks like great value. Big bang for the buck ao to say. π
